Dr. Kristin Schultz

Dr. Kristin Schultz received her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology from William James College in Newton, MA, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at The Brenner Center, a testing center affiliated with William James College in Newton, MA. During her time in the doctoral program, she had clinical placements each year, and her main focus was psychotherapy with children and testing of children and adults. At the Brenner Center, she obtained advanced training in psychological and neuropsychological assessments of teens and adults. Over the course of her career, she has worked with diverse populations; she has done psychotherapy and testing with adults at Community Healthlink, a community mental health center affiliated with UMass Memorial Heath, therapy and testing within LifeStance Health, a large behavioral health company, and has worked doing a variety of assessments in private practice. 


Dr. Schultz has consistently engaged in evaluations wherever she worked and has done ADHD testing, autism testing, evaluation for diagnostic clarification of psychiatric diagnosis, assessments to determine appropriate school accommodations for both children and adult students, neuropsychological assessments, IQ testing, career assessments, and disability evaluations for Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission. Dr. Schultz specializes in the treatment and diagnosis of mood disorders (i.e., anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder), neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, as well as major mental illness. 


At Newton Neuropsychology group, she assesses older children, teens, and adults. She meets the individual at their level of development, has respect for differences, does her best to make individuals feel comfortable and engaged in the testing process, and gives practical tailored recommendations for each patient.
